Convenience store operator Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC) said its net profit grew by 69.3% in 2023.
In a statement, PSC said its net income reached P3.48 billion. Retail sales and service income of both corporate and franchise-operated 7-Eleven stores hit P82.2 billion, a 24.5 percent increase from last year’s figures.
Same-store sales growth also increased by 13% , the company noted.
PSC said it ended 2023 with 3,768 stores nationwide, higher by 11.1% from last year. Fifty-two percent of these are company-owned.
PSC said it ended 2023 with P39.5 billion in total assets.
It also touted its expansion of ATM services in collaboration with Seven Bank of Japan.
“By the end of 2023, there were 3,028 ATMs in Metro Manila, Luzon, Cebu, and Davao, covering 80 percent of the company’s store network,” the company said.
