What began in 1983 as a small nail polish business founded by Dioceldo S. Sy has grown into one of the leading local cosmetics brands in the Philippines, Ever Bilena.
At the time, cosmetics in the country were largely imported and expensive. Mr. Sy saw an opportunity to change that. His mission was simple yet powerful, to make beauty accessible to every Filipina. Over the years, Ever Bilena expanded its product line to include makeup, skincare, and personal care essentials becoming an everyday part of millions of women’s lives.
As Denice Sy, Ever Bilena’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, shared in her interview on PRA’s “Let’s Talk Retail,” the brand’s longevity is rooted in its ability to evolve with the times.
“What makes Ever Bilena iconic today is that we’ve been around for over four decades, and we continue to evolve. From one generation to the next, Filipinos still choose our products. That lasting connection is something we’re truly proud of,” Denice said.
In the newest episode of Let’s Talk Retail, Denice discusses Ever Bilena’s journey, how it identified unmet needs in the market, provided affordable yet high-quality cosmetics, and championed inclusivity. Under her leadership in Sales and Marketing, Ever Bilena continues to thrive amid both global and homegrown competitors.
“I think what truly sets us apart is our community. We don’t just have buyers, we have advocates who’ve stood by us for decades, alongside new customers who continue to love Ever Bilena. While other brands trend for the moment, we’ve built genuine relationships and trust that last. In a sea of cosmetic brands, our difference isn’t about shouting louder, it’s about serving and connecting better.”
