Pampanga’s Angeles City, known for its craftsmanship and cuisine, is about to welcome another kind of design to its community — UNIQLO Philippines’ first roadside store in Central Luzon!
Opening on September 5 at The Infinity in Angeles City, the new location introduces the brand’s suburban-style retail concept to Kapampangans, over a decade after UNIQLO first entered the province in SM City Pampanga in 2013.
Unlike mall-based branches, roadside stores are designed as spacious stand-alone spaces with dedicated parking, barrier-free access for PWDs, and app-to-store services like Click & Collect. According to the brand, its roadside stores “aim to make a difference in communities by championing local engagement and advancing UNIQLO’s sustainability initiatives.”
To celebrate its opening, the Angeles store is incorporating local touches — shoppers can try their luck at Japan’s popular Gachapon capsule machine, where prizes include vouchers to homegrown dining spots Pineapple Coast and Islas Restaurant, along with UNIQLO novelty items like bag charms, mugs, and duffle bags.
Fans of LifeWear can also expect opening-week offers and discounts on AIRism tops, as well as Wide Trouser Jeans.
Neighboring UNIQLO branches include SM City Clark, SM City Pampanga, SM City Bataan, SM City Tarlac, SM City Olongapo Central, SM City Cabanatuan, and SM City Rosales will also be offering limited offers from September 5 to 11. The Angeles branch marks Central Luzon’s eighth UNIQLO outlet.
This follows UNIQLO’s first roadside store in Taytay, Rizal, in March called UNIQLO Sierra Valley, and UNIQLO’s first roadside store in Mindanao that opened in July in Davao City, signifying the brand’s aggressive regional expansion starting this year.
