This prestigious event honors Filipino retailers and now includes a special focus on recognizing excellence in the innovation and sustainability of malls and shopping centers.
Malls & Shopping Center Awards: Celebrating Innovation and Sustainability
This year’s Mall & Shopping Center Awards are designed to acknowledge and celebrate shopping centers or malls that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainability, customer service, and creative design. These categories highlight the commitment of shopping centers to enhance customer experiences while promoting environmentally friendly practices.
Mall Innovation Award
The Mall Innovation Award celebrates shopping centers that stand out in innovation, featuring cutting-edge technology and creative experiences. Judging criteria include the implementation of advanced technologies, innovative customer experiences, and unique events. This award looks at how effectively these elements transform the shopping center into a hub of innovation and excitement.
Sustainable Shopping Center Design Award
The Sustainable Shopping Center Design Award recognizes shopping centers committed to sustainability in their design and operations. Criteria include the integration of green building practices, promotion of eco-friendly transportation, adoption of energy-efficient systems, sustainable waste management, and an overall commitment to creating an environmentally conscious and visually appealing shopping environment.
Background of the OFR Awards
The OFR Awards, an annual initiative by the PRA in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), honor outstanding Filipino retailers who demonstrate exemplary achievements in creativity, technological innovation, strategic thinking, sustainability, and good business practices. By celebrating these trailblazers, the OFR Awards inspire the entire industry towards continuous improvement and responsible business conduct.
Call for Entries
The deadline for entries is on July 19, 2024. PRA member malls and shopping centers are invited to submit their entries and join this distinguished recognition program. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your commitment to innovation and sustainability in the retail environment and to be recognized as a leader in the industry.
