The Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) successfully concluded the 2026 Outstanding Filipino Retailers (OFR) Awards, at the SMX Mall of Asia in Pasay City, recognizing the country’s most exceptional retailers, brands, shopping centers, and retail leaders whose commitment to innovation, operational excellence, customer experience, and responsible business practices continues to raise the standards of Philippine retail.
Held as one of PRA’s flagship industry events following the successful conclusion of the 32nd National Retail Conference and Expo (NRCE) 2026, the OFR Awards once again affirmed its position as the Philippine retail industry’s highest recognition program—celebrating businesses that are not only achieving commercial success but are also helping shape a more innovative, sustainable, and globally competitive retail sector.
Established in 1997, the Outstanding Filipino Retailers Awards has become the benchmark for excellence in Philippine retail. Organized by the Philippine Retailers Association, the awards recognize organizations that consistently demonstrate leadership, resilience, and innovation while making significant contributions to the country’s economic development.
A Stronger, More Future-Ready Awards Program
Returning in 2026 with a refreshed evaluation framework, the OFR Awards expanded its recognition of retailers that excel in areas increasingly defining modern commerce, including innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, people development, operational excellence, and customer experience.
More than simply recognizing successful businesses, the awards highlight organizations whose best practices inspire the entire retail community to pursue continuous improvement and long-term competitiveness.
This year’s awards reflected the rapid evolution of Philippine retail as businesses continue to embrace new technologies, respond to changing consumer behavior, strengthen sustainability initiatives, and invest in people, innovation, and operational excellence.
Celebrating Excellence Across Philippine Retail
The OFR Awards honored retailers and shopping centers that demonstrated excellence across multiple dimensions of business performance, including:
Innovation and creativity
Operational excellence
Customer experience
Leadership and people development
Sustainability and responsible business practices
Digital transformation
Corporate social responsibility
Business growth and resilience
By recognizing these achievements, PRA continues to encourage retailers nationwide to pursue world-class standards while creating meaningful value for customers, employees, business partners, communities, and other stakeholders.
The awards are open to qualified retailers and shopping centers throughout the Philippines, providing businesses of various sizes and formats an opportunity to be recognized among the country’s best-performing organizations.

Upholding Integrity Through Independent Evaluation
The credibility of the OFR Awards continues to be anchored on an independent and highly respected panel of judges composed of leaders from government, retail, business, workplace excellence, market intelligence, and design.
The 2026 awards were chaired by Harvey Ong, Director of the Philippine Retailers Association and Chair of the 2026 OFR Awards Committee, who led the rigorous and transparent evaluation process.
Joining the panel were representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Great Place To Work Philippines, NielsenIQ, the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), and respected retail consultants—bringing together decades of expertise across retail operations, consumer insights, innovation, workplace culture, and design.
Their independent assessment ensured that every recipient truly reflected the highest standards of excellence within the Philippine retail industry.
