Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., the operator of Uniqlo, is expanding its Philippine retail network through new store openings and upgrades in provincial markets and transport hubs for the Fall/Winter 2026 season.
“Uniqlo continues to strengthen its presence across the Philippines with three new store openings and three expanded stores scheduled for the Fall/Winter 2026 season,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The retailer said it will open three new stores and expand several existing branches as it increases its presence outside Metro Manila.
The expansion includes the opening of Uniqlo SM City Zamboanga on Sept. 25, marking the brand’s eighth store in Mindanao.
The Zamboanga branch will also be the first Uniqlo store in the Philippines to offer the company’s Modest Wear collection for women, including the AIRism UV Protection Hijab and other everyday apparel, it said.
By November, Uniqlo will expand into high-traffic transport and suburban locations.
The retailer is set to open a store at the departure area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
It will also open a branch at SM City Nuvali in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The mall is scheduled to open on Nov. 27.
Uniqlo is also expanding the retail areas of its SM City Marikina and SM City Cabanatuan stores. The Cabanatuan branch will introduce self-checkout counters, the company said.
In the Visayas, Uniqlo SM City Cebu will be expanded from a single-floor standard store into a two-level large-format branch.
In Mindanao, the retailer is set to reopen its SM City General Santos store as the area continues to recover from the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck in June.
