About Retail Employees Day (RED)
The RED project is a global celebration to show appreciation to retail employees, especially front liners. Launched in India by the Trust for Retailers & Retail Associates of India (TRRAIN) in 2011, RED was later adopted worldwide, including the Philippines in 2018. Over 700 brands and six million employees have participated in the celebration, with the largest engagement in India, Turkey, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Bangladesh.
In the Philippines, PRA has been at the forefront of the RED celebration since 2018, recognizing the importance of showing gratitude to the incredible service of retail employees.
